Bringing Hope and Help To Our Community

Sheltered of Lancaster is a ministry dedicated to offering support and resources to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We believe everyone deserves a helping hand, and through our services, we aim to provide essential items and a path towards a brighter future.

What We Offer:

  • Hygiene Essentials: Our van is equipped with shower facilities, allowing individuals to maintain personal hygiene. Feeling clean and refreshed can be a significant step towards regaining dignity and self-confidence.
  • Clothing Distribution: We provide a selection of clothing items to help people stay warm and protected from the elements. We also assist by providing washer and driers for those in need.
  • Warm Meals and Food Pantry: In partnership with Feeding the 5000 our mobile outreach van distributes hot meals and offers access to a selection of non-perishable food items. No one should go hungry, and we strive to ensure basic nutritional needs are met.

More Than Just Basics:

Sheltered of Lancaster recognizes homelessness is a complex issue. While we offer immediate relief through food, hygiene, and clothing, our ultimate goal is to empower those we serve. We connect individuals with resources and support services to help them find permanent housing, employment opportunities, and a path out of homelessness.

Sheltered of Lancaster relies on the generosity of our community. There are many ways you can get involved:
  • Volunteer: Donate your time by helping with clothing organization or van operations.
  • Donate: Financial contributions allow us to continue providing vital services. You can also donate new or gently used clothing items.
  • Spread Awareness: Help us raise awareness about homelessness in Lancaster and the ways our community can come together to support those in need.
